Casting

Next Casting to be announced

We had great casting calls in Philadelphia in October and at the AFI theater in Silver Spring in February. Our next casting call for new auditions and callbacks will take place in early 2010. Check back here for updates in January.

Non-Union Production

“The Blue Dress” is a non-union (and small budget) production, though we accept actors in SAG Core. Here are three helpful links to understand SAG Financial Core: wikipedia, Coal Mine Canary Films, and Mark Pirro’s Q&A.

All parts listed here are paid, most will require multiple days on set, with no deferred payment. Everyone will get a contract.

Parts still open for casting

The first step in the casting process for Bill, Al, George, Ken and other roles will be done online, via the Submit Tape page. Please fill in the form and we’ll include you in the casting process. If we need more information, someone will contact you.

These auditions will be posted online for review. The goal is to update the site every few days with new auditions, so please check back often.
